The Xth SIGSAND/PLAIS EuroSymposium has the objective of promoting and developing high quality research on all issues related to systems analysis and design (SAND). On September 11, 2017 we celebrate 100 years since the birth of the great Bulgarian mathematician, glamorous teacher and symbol of academicism, the corresponding member of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Professor Jaroslav. Prof. Tagamlitzki contributed greatly to the development of Bulgarian mathematics both through his remarkable scientific achievements, and through the preparation for research activity of a generation of younger mathematicians. For him, teaching of mathematics was a mission followed with an exceptional sense of responsibility and remarkable masterity.
