The main educational goal of the doctoral program is the training of highly qualified researchers in the field of information technologies, who have the knowledge and skills to solve complex problems of scientific and applied scientific nature.

The training and research activities in the doctoral program contribute to the derivation of new results in key areas of theoretical and applied knowledge in the field of informatics and information technologies, such as:

  • distributed systems and mobile communications: models of systems for management of distributed computing resources, modern technologies for construction of data centers for storage and processing of large volumes of data, high-performance computing systems, cloud architectures, technologies for mobile application development, methods for coordination and business process planning;
  • e-learning: e-learning standards, models of e-learning management and support systems, e-learning design approaches and methods, methodologies and information technologies for e-learning materials development, e-learning assessment, digital repositories and digital libraries.
